Free online assessment tools to measure a youth's life skills such as the Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment (ACLSA). The ACLSA is an evaluation of youth independent living skills. Available in Spanish.
Guardian ad Litem Teen Resources. This section of the Flroida Guardian ad Litem website is dedicated solely to teens in Florida's foster care system. You will find worksheets that that explain what needs to happen and when, information about scholarships, banking skills, food banks, medical and insurance information, parenting and day care resources, information about how to get a job, how to find housing, and support groups. There are also links to help with life skills, employment, transportation, housing, education, scholarships and frequently asked questions. There are even videos about "aging out" of the foster care system.
