The Guardian ad Litem Program is seeking hard-working, dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in a child’s life. Best Interest Attorneys, Case Coordinators and Assistant Case Coordinators are needed to provide best interests advocacy for abused, neglected and abandoned children and give these children a voice in court. The Guardian ad Litem Program uses a team approach to represent children in dependency proceedings. Program staff members work with volunteers from the community to help children find loving, permanent homes. As a part of this process, Guardian ad Litem Program employees attend court, visit children and their families, work with the Department of Children and Families and community organizations and develop recommendations regarding the child’s best interests.
